Terms of Use
My Ghana Life · operated by Caesium Solutions Limited · effective 9 October 2026
These Terms of Use are the agreement between you and Caesium Solutions Limited for My Ghana Life. They cover the game, accounts, game cedis, purchases, chat, billboards, and the other features we offer.
Creating an account, playing, or paying for anything in My Ghana Life means you agree to these terms, the Privacy & Cookie Policy, the content disclaimer, and the community guidance. If you do not agree, do not use My Ghana Life.
1. What My Ghana Life is
My Ghana Life is an entertainment life simulation set in a fictional version of Ghana. You can work, travel, rent a room, eat, visit venues, talk to other players, and spend a play balance called game cedis.
The city borrows the feel of everyday life in Ghana. Jobs, prices, landlords, venues, conversations, and chance events are game systems. They are not a record of any real street, business, or person. The content disclaimer is part of these terms.
2. Who can play
You may create an account only if you meet the minimum age shown on the sign-up screen and you are able to agree to these terms. That minimum is 14 unless the sign-up screen states an older age.
You confirm that the date of birth you give us is yours and that it is accurate. If we reasonably believe an account is under the minimum age, we may close it.
3. Your account
Sign-up asks for your name, a username, your date of birth, and a password. Email is optional. If you add an email address, we use it for a welcome note, receipts, and password reset. You also choose how your character is presented, including man or woman, for the avatar in the game.
Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens through your account, except where the law says otherwise. Your name, username, and character can be seen by other players.
Do not sell, rent, share, or give your account to someone else.
4. A fictional Ghana
My Ghana Life may include Accra and other towns, neighbourhoods, roads, landmarks, and venues. Those places are simplified, moved, renamed, or invented for play.
Showing a real place in the game does not mean that a government, a property owner, or anyone else has approved My Ghana Life.
5. Game cedis
The wallet uses the word cedis and the ₵ sign for a fictional balance inside My Ghana Life. In these terms, that balance is game cedis.
Game cedis exist so the city has an economy. You can earn them, spend them, and lose them under the rules of the game. A figure such as ₵1,000,000 on the screen is a play balance. It is not a sum Caesium Solutions Limited owes you in Ghanaian currency.
- Game cedis are a play balance only.
- They are not Ghanaian legal tender, cash, or a bank deposit.
- They are not the eCedi, and they are not issued or backed by the Bank of Ghana.
- They cannot be withdrawn to a bank, mobile money, or any other real-money account.
- They have no cash value because the game displays the ₵ sign.
- Do not sell game cedis for real money, or run an exchange for them, outside the purchases we offer ourselves.
6. Buying game cedis
We may let you buy extra game cedis with real money. The price and the amount are shown before you pay.
A successful purchase gives you the stated play balance in your wallet. It does not buy Ghanaian currency, a deposit, an investment, or a right to cash the balance out.
Real-money payments are processed by Paystack. Paystack’s own terms also apply to the payment.
7. The city economy
The game has a moving economy. It can include work and pay, rent, food, transport, venue charges, referrals, billboards, fines, bonuses, and other play costs and rewards.
We may change prices, pay, chances, limits, and other numbers to keep the city playable, fair, and secure. If a balance or item came from a bug, a duplicated payment, fraud, or abuse, we may reverse it.
This section does not remove a right that consumer law says we cannot take away.
8. Not advice
Work, business, rent, and spending inside My Ghana Life are game systems. They are not financial, tax, legal, medical, or employment advice, and they are not an offer of a real product.
9. Other things you can pay for
Besides game cedis, we may offer paid features such as a billboard in the city. The price and what you receive are shown before you pay, or agreed with you separately if the purchase is a commercial placement.
10. Refunds and payment disputes
Once a paid digital item has been delivered, the purchase is generally final. A right that Ghanaian law does not allow you to waive still stands.
When we will look again
We will review a refund where your real-money payment succeeded and our records show that the game cedis, billboard, or other paid digital item was not delivered.
A delivered purchase is not refunded only because you later change your mind, spend the game cedis, or lose them in play.
Billboards and other paid placements
A billboard or similar placement may reserve a spot in the city and use the image and link you supply. After that work has started or the placement is live, the fee is generally not refunded, except where the law requires it or we failed to provide what you paid for.
Chargebacks
Do not start a dishonest chargeback for a purchase we delivered. If a payment is reversed after delivery, we may remove the related game benefit and restrict the account.
11. Billboards and advertising
Advertising in My Ghana Life sits inside the city. It can include billboards and other placements we add later.
Buying a placement does not promise a number of views, clicks, or sales. You are responsible for the image, words, and website you submit, and for having the rights to use them. We may refuse or remove a placement that breaks these terms, the community guidance, or the law.
12. Other people’s brands
The city may show real company names, products, places, and other familiar marks so the setting feels recognisable. Unless we clearly label a brand as a partner or advertiser, that appearance does not mean the brand paid us, approved the game, or has a relationship with us.
Those marks stay with their owners. These terms do not give you a right to use them.
13. Public institutions
The game may refer to public life in Ghana, including offices, police, courts, and regulators, as part of the fiction. My Ghana Life is not run by, endorsed by, or speaking for any public institution.
Officers, officials, and similar characters are fictional unless we say otherwise. We do not claim a right to use a protected seal, coat of arms, flag, or insignia where the law requires permission.
14. Characters
The city is made of player characters and fictional figures. A resemblance to a real person is unintended unless we have said that a real collaboration exists.
15. Chat and material you add
Players can message each other, keep relationships, block someone, and upload material such as a billboard image. Anything you send or upload is your content.
You keep the rights you already have in that content. You give Caesium Solutions Limited permission to host, store, show, and moderate it so we can run, secure, and improve My Ghana Life. That permission lasts while we need it for the service, for moderation, and for legal duties.
Messages are stored so they can be delivered and reviewed if there is a report. Do not treat chat as a private channel that nobody else can ever see.
- Do not send anything unlawful.
- Do not infringe someone else’s rights.
- Do not pretend to be another person in order to deceive them.
- Do not threaten, harass, or expose someone’s private information.
- Do not send malware, scams, or attempts to break the service.
16. Conduct that is not allowed
The community guidance explains how to treat other players. These terms also forbid the following.
- Bots, scripts, or other unauthorised automation.
- Exploiting bugs, or duplicating balances or items.
- Extra accounts used to farm, cheat, or dodge a restriction.
- Getting into someone else’s account, or interfering with the service.
- Scraping the service without permission.
- Buying or selling accounts.
- Trading game cedis for real money outside a purchase we offer.
- Using a payment method you are not allowed to use.
- Helping someone else do any of these.
17. If these terms are broken
We may warn you, remove content, reverse a balance that was not fairly obtained, limit features, or close an account. Serious fraud, cheating, or unlawful activity can lead to immediate action. Where the law allows, we may keep or share information with the proper authorities.
18. Closing your account
You can delete your account from your profile when that option is available. Deleting it removes your login and the character tied to it, including chat that exists only because of that character.
Some records can remain where we still need them. Payment notices from Paystack, security logs, and backups are examples. Another player’s own history can also remain so their city stays consistent. Personal information we no longer need is deleted or separated from your identity, as the privacy policy describes.
19. Our material
Aside from your content and other people’s marks, the code, systems, original art, writing, and branding of My Ghana Life belong to Caesium Solutions Limited or are used with permission.
We give you a personal, revocable permission to play My Ghana Life for its intended purpose. You may not copy, sell, or commercially exploit the game, or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows.
20. The service can change
My Ghana Life will keep changing. We may add, remove, or rebalance features, places, jobs, and items. We do not promise that any of them will stay forever. The game may be down for maintenance or because something failed.
21. No promised outcome
Play depends on your choices, other players, and the game’s numbers. We do not promise earnings, a job, a relationship, a rank, a billboard result, or any other particular outcome.
22. Liability
To the extent Ghanaian law allows, Caesium Solutions Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of My Ghana Life.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, and nothing here removes a consumer right that the law keeps in place.
23. Your responsibility for misuse
To the extent the law allows, you are responsible for loss that comes directly from your unlawful use of My Ghana Life, a serious breach of these terms, content you submit that infringes someone else’s rights, advertising material you did not have the rights to use, or fraud through your account.
This does not apply where the loss was caused by our own unlawful conduct.
24. Privacy and community guidance
The Privacy & Cookie Policy explains how we handle personal information. The community guidance is part of how you must behave in the city. A break of that guidance can be enforced under these terms.
25. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the game, the law, payments, or our business changes. If a change is significant, we will give notice in My Ghana Life or by another reasonable means. Where the law allows, continuing to play after the new terms take effect means you accept them.
26. Ghana law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
If a dispute arises, you and Caesium Solutions Limited should first try to resolve it directly. A dispute that remains may be brought in a Ghanaian court that has jurisdiction, without taking away a procedure that consumer law gives you.
27. If one part fails
If a court finds that one part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies as far as the law allows.
If we do not enforce a term immediately, we can still enforce it later.
28. The whole agreement
These terms, the Privacy & Cookie Policy, the content disclaimer, the community guidance, and any separate written agreement for a particular purchase are the agreement between you and Caesium Solutions Limited about My Ghana Life.
